Henri Matisse is a giant of modern art, and we celebrate his birthday this month in our Famous Artists Series Workshops.

This fun workshop explores the final chapter in his career in which he began ‘carving into colour’ and his series of spectacular cut-outs was born. From snowflowers to dancers, circus scenes and a famous snail, Matisse created bold, exuberant, often large in scale cut-outs that have an engaging simplicity with incredible creative sophistication. This fun workshop will teach you how to create your own colorful cut-out graphic art layouts just like Matisse! Your beautiful work of art is perfect to display at home or gift to someone special for the holidays!
