Little Boxes

Date: Tuesday, April 4, 2017
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Soundview Cinemas (7 Soundview Market Place, Port Washington)

World premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2016, this star-studded film from young filmmaker Rob Meyer is one not to be missed! It’s the summer before 6th grade, and Clark (Armani Jackson) is the new-in-town biracial kid in a sea of white. After moving her family from Brooklyn into a small town outside of Seattle, Gina (the hilarious and impeccably talented Melanie Lynskey) tries to help her family adjust to their new life, which throws unexpected and down-right funny curveballs in their path. Each member of their tight-knit family feel as though they are fumbling to meet expectations as familial rifts are exposed. This comedy about understanding identity is the second feature from Rob Meyer.
Starring: Melanie Lynskey, Nelsan Ellis, Armani Jackson, Janeane Garofalo, Christine Taylor & David Charles Ebert.
