LONG ISLAND PREMIERE
In 1967, The Beatles embarked on an ambitious project, writing and directing a one-hour film, Magical Mystery Tour. The music written for the film is some of The Beatles’ psychedelic best. In Deconstructing The Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour, Mr. Freiman delves into the creative process behind “The Fool On The Hill,” “Blue Jay Way,” “I Am The Walrus,” and other selections from Magical Mystery Tour. Scott will also “deconstruct” other songs from the Magical Mystery Tour album, including “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “Penny Lane,” and “All You Need Is Love.”
Directly following the film, guests are invited to keep the party going and wander next door to the Arts Center where they can grab a drink and enjoy a live concert by Long Island’s very own Beatles cover band, Penny Lane! Penny Lane relies on their unadulterated sound and solid, tight vocal harmonies to reproduce the Beatles’ legacy, note-for-note! You will hear a selection of Beatles songs spanning their entire career which always leaves crowds cheering for more! A Splendid Time Is Guaranteed For All! Come witness the Beatles’ music as you recalled it by taking a Magical Mystery Tour with PENNY LANE!
