Basic Beginner Pointe
This is a 30-minute class for students in Ballet 5 and Ballet 6 who are serious about ballet. Dancing on toe requires great strength in the legs and feet. All dancers must be formally evaluated by their ballet teacher to determine if they are physically ready to meet the demands of pointe work. To attend this class, students must be enrolled in or have completed Ballet 5. Dancers must bring their pointe shoes and accessories unsewn to the first day of pointe class to be checked by their teacher. Maximum 5 students on premises. Virtual option available.
Dress: Black leotard with pink tights and black ballet skirt. Hair must be pulled back in a bun.
Note: Pointe Shoes: Choosing the correct pointe shoe is extremely important. Purchase dance shoes from a reputable dance shop to ensure proper fit. No costume required for dance recital.
