BERNIE GENZER is a retired teacher of High School Speech and Drama, and has been a Fencing Coach for two High School Varsity teams: 15 seasons at Richmond Hill in Queens, and 14 seasons at Great Neck South here on Long Island, with numerous League Championships, and Individual Foil Champions. He has also taught Fencing for the Gold Coast Arts Center: several years in our Outreach Programs at Westbury Middle School, and JHS 185 in Flushing, and many, many years right here at GCAC.
Additionally, Mr. Genzer has refereed Nassau County high school fencing matches for Saber, Epee, and Foil, taught numerous private lessons, and even conducted classes in Theatrical Sword Combat. 🎭🤺🎭
