Summer Arts Camp 2022

WELCOME TO SUMMER ARTS CAMP 2022!

Browse through our weekly camps and click REGISTER NOW to make your selections. Camp is from 9:00AM – 3:00PM and lunch, snack, and water are included. Kosher lunches are available upon request and MUST be indicated on registration form. All health & safety precautions are observed.

The tuition below is for 5-day camps that run from Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 3:00PM. This pricing does not apply to 4-day camps.
You will be charged late fees if pickup is later than 3:00PM.

4-DAY CAMP OPTIONS: JULY 5 – JULY 8 

CERAMICS 

July 5-8 (4-day camp)
Instructor: Jude Amsel
One group: Ages 6-14 (maximum 12 students)

Learn to create beautiful works of art with clay as you make pinch pots, coil vessels and slab projects, as well as other inventive ceramic pieces. Students will paint and glaze their finished works of art. 

*4-Day Camp Special Fixed Tuition:

WOOD WORKSHOP

July 5-8 (4-day camp)
Instructor: Karen Hubela
One Group: Ages 7-14 (maximum 12 students.)

Unique opportunity to see your creative ideas come to life when you build them with raw materials. Students will be given safe, personalized attention and must be able to focus in this intensive camp. Premium materials and equipment are included.

5-DAY CAMP OPTIONS 

MUSIC INSPIRES ART INSPIRES MUSIC

July 11-15 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Robert Hoffmann & Darya Gauthier
20 students total: Group A– Ages 6-9 (10 students) and Group B- Ages 10-14 (10 students)

Creativity has always been at the forefront through time. How do artists such as Bach, the Beatles, The Backstreet Boys, Botticelli, and Braque influence the arts as well as the times? Listen, paint and draw using different strokes and colors. Learn how music and art impacted each other as well as had a major influence on peoples’ lives.

CERAMICS

July 11-15 (1-week camp)

DRAWING & PAINTING

July 18-22 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Karen Hubela & Elizeh Hakimi
24 students total:

Group B- Ages 10-14 (12 students)

Be inspired by your surroundings and get creative. Draw, paint, and collage using various mediums such as watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and pencil.

MUSICAL THEATRE: GREATEST SHOWTUNES    

July 25-29 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Megan Clancy & Darya Gauthier
20 students total: Group A– Ages 6-9 (10 students) and Group B- Ages 10-14 (10 students)      

Learn to create your own renditions of musical hits! Sing, act, and dance at your own pace as you enjoy daily classes that will give you the confidence to perform on stage. On the last day of this session, family and friends will enjoy a live performance.

FUTURE IDOL: ROCK ON!

August 1-5 (1-week camp)
Instructor: Robert Hoffmann & Jennifer Stathes
16 students total: Group A– Ages 6-9 (8 students) and Group B- Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Want to be a star and move like one? Vocalists and all musicians are welcome! Bring your guitar, sax, or any other instrument and be a part of a special performance that friends and family can enjoy. Students will learn the art of performing songs in various styles such as rock, R&B, Folk, Country, and Pop. Instructors will be there to boost students’ confidence in their ability to perform.

August 1-5 (1-week camp)

BUILD IT: 3D ART

August 8-12 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Karen Hubela, Elizeh Hakimi
16 students total:

Group A- Ages 6-9 (8 students)

Create unique three-dimensional projects using wood, plaster, clay, wire, and other mediums. You’ll be so excited to see the finished product!

DANCE ON     

August 15-19 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Megan Clancy, Cindy Reitman & Jennifer Stathes
18 students total: Group A- Ages 6-9 (8 students) and Group B- Ages 10-14 (10 students)

(Includes acting or art session)
Dancers at all levels will advance in their abilities in Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre and more! Improve your flexibility, turns and leaps.

August 15-19 (1-week camp)

CARTOONING/ACTING

August 22-26 (1-week camp)
Instructors: Denise Holz, Jesus Modesto, Darya Gauthier
36 students total: Group A- Ages 6-7 (12 students), Group B- Ages 8-9 (12 students), Group C- Ages 10-14 (12 students)

Draw your favorite cartoons and create your own characters using ink and color. Develop your drawing through storytelling and create your own cartoon strip! As a bonus, you will get to act out the characters you have created in small skits.
