ART & MUSIC OF TODAY – June 28 to July 1

4-DAY CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Karen Hubela, Robert Hoffmann
Group A– Ages 6-9 (7 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Taking care of our planet is more important than ever! Students will gather items to create a recycled project and design innovative works of art inspired by contemporary artists using various mediums. In addition, students will enjoy singing popular tunes, accompanied by musical director, Robert Hoffmann.

CERAMICS – July 6 to July 9

4-DAY CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructor: Jude Amsel
One group- Ages 6-14 (10 students)

Learn to create beautiful works of art with clay as you make pinch pots, coil vessels and slab projects, as well as other inventive creations. Students will paint and glaze their masterpieces.

VIRTUAL CAMPS

CHESS: QUEENS & KNIGHTS – August 23 to 27

1-WEEK CAMP / VIRTUAL
Instructor: Jack Niculescu
Ages 7-14 (12 students)

10:00 AM 12:00 PM

Experienced players only (Requirement: complete understanding of chess rules)
This class will consist of a 30-min talk which includes a lesson and relevant puzzles. Students will then play a partner with similar ability. The teacher will analyze their games, which will increase their skill level. Lessons will cover all facets and phases of the game.

PROGRAMMING/CODING FOR ROBOTICS – August 23 to 27

1-WEEK CAMP / VIRTUAL
Instructor: Kayla Ho
Ages 7-14 (12 students)

1:00- 3:00 PM

Using a fully online platform, students will learn valuable STEM skills such as coding, robotics, and physical computing. Students will use block-based programming languages to complete various missions and learn about different robotics technology along the way.

MUSICAL THEATRE: GREATEST SHOWTUNES – July 6 to 9, July 12 to 16

2-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Amanda Montoni, Darya Gauthier
Group A– Ages 6-9 (8 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Create your own renditions of musical hits! Sing, act and dance at your own level as you enjoy daily classes that will give you the confidence to perform on stage. Camp is nine days in-person plus an invaluable recording for a ZOOM viewing party which we are counting as ten days total or two-week camp. On the last day of this session, we will record the performance. Share your talent with family and friends at a Zoom viewing party.

*Must sign up for the full 2 weeks (two choices MUST be selected for this camp when you click REGISTER NOW).

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON

One group- Ages 6-14 (10 students)

Learn to create beautiful works of art with clay as you make pinch pots, coil vessels and slab projects, as well as other inventive creations. Students will paint and glaze their masterpieces.

DRAWING/PAINTING & THE ART OF FILM – July 19 to 23

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Karen Hubela, Elizeh Hakimi, Robert Hoffmann
Group A– Ages 6-9 (7 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Look around you and get inspired by your surroundings. Draw, paint and collage using various mediums such as watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and pencil. Student artwork can be used as backdrops for your film. Explore what goes into making a successful film.  Students may have specific jobs such as lighting and stage setting.

DANCE ON – July 26 to July 30

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Amanda Montoni, Jennifer Stathes, Laura Porcelli
Group A– Ages 6-9 (8 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Dancers at all levels will grow their abilities in Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and more! Improve your flexibility, turns and leaps. Includes acting or art session.

Girls Attire: Black leotard, leggings or tights, jazz shoes and lyrical shoes
If you do not have jazz or lyrical shoes you may wear sneakers. If you do not have a leotard and tights, you may wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes such as leggings and a t-shirt.

Boys Attire: Black jazz pants, t-shirt, jazz shoes
If you do not have jazz shoes, you may wear sneakers. If you do not have black jazz pants, you may wear sweat pants.

NEVER FEAR SHAKESPEARE – August 2 to 6

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON

Group A– Ages 6-9 (8 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Step into the world of Shakespeare and participate in adaptions of beloved Shakespearean plays with a modern twist such as modern-day Romeo and Juliet.

CERAMICS – August 2 to 6

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON

One group- Ages 6-14 (10 students)

Learn to create beautiful works of art with clay as you make pinch pots, coil vessels and slab projects, as well as other inventive creations. Students will paint and glaze their masterpieces.

3D ART – August 9 to 13

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Karen Hubela, Elizeh Hakimi
Group A– Ages 6-9 (7 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Create unique projects using wood, plaster, clay, wire and other mediums. You will be amazed by the results.

CARTOONING – August 16 to 20

1-WEEK CAMP / IN-PERSON
Instructors: Denise Holz, Jesus Modesto
Group A– Ages 6-9 (7 students) and Group B– Ages 10-14 (8 students)

Draw your favorite cartoons and create your own characters using ink and color. Develop your drawing through storytelling and create your own cartoon strip! Includes acting session.

HOW TO REGISTER & HELPFUL FAQS

HOW TO REGISTER FOR 5-DAY CAMPS – 9AM – 3PM

  1. Choose from the website camp menu which weekly camps you are interested in and click REGISTER NOW.
    Each transaction is for one child ONLY. You will have to register a sibling separately.
  2. If you are a School Supporter Member, sign in to receive your special discounted prices.
  3. You will see a page with a list of CHOICE SELECTIONS. You must start with CHOICE A and go down in order to receive the special pricing per week. If you want to add four, 5-day camps total, add CHOICE A to cart, hit close, and continue adding until you are ready to checkout. The more camps you add to your cart the more savings you will receive.
  4. On the checkout page – fill in all required fields. Under the student info you will select which camp and age group you are registering for.
    – You will not be able to proceed to the next screen until all fields are filled out.
    NOTE! Musical Theatre is a 2 WEEK camp and you must register for BOTH weeks.
  5. Click PROCEED once you have finished choosing your camps.
  6. You will be prompted to SIGN IN if you have an account, if not you will need to create one.
  7. Continue to PAYMENT. Once complete an email confirmation will be sent to you with details of your transaction. If you are registering another student, repeat all steps above.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER SIBLINGS SEPARATELY?

Yes. You need to register one student per transaction.

HOW TO I REGISTER FOR CAMPS THAT HAVE A SPECIAL FIXED PRICING?

Choose the camps from the website camp menu and hit REGISTER NOW. Add those camps to your cart and proceed.

HOW DO VIRTUAL CAMPS WORK?

You will receive a ZOOM link and instructions from your teacher a few days before camp begins.

DO I GET A DISCOUNT IF I REGISTER FOR A 4-DAY CAMP OR VIRTUAL CAMPS IN ADDITION TO 5-DAY CAMPS?

Special discounts have been factored in for camps with a fixed pricing. The week selection discounts only apply to camps that run 5 days from Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER SAVINGS?

School Supporter Members will save $50 per week! Not a member? Become a member HERE. Want to save more?  Register for more weeks, unlock more savings!

ARE THERE EARLY DROP-OFF OR LATE PICK-UP OPTIONS?

Yes! Call or email us if you would like to inquire about this option. We need to know one week in advance of each week of camp.

  • $20 per hour, per child
  • Early drop-off is available upon request from 8:15 AM – 8:45 AM
  • After care is available upon request until 5:00 PM except Friday
  • Late fees will be incurred if pickup is later than 3:00 PM

IS LUNCH PROVIDED FOR IN-PERSON CAMPS?

Yes. Prepackaged meals for most lunches will be provided. Students will be eating in small groups, 6 feet apart. Lunch is nut-free. No outside food or nap sacks are permitted on premises.

ARE KOSHER MEALS AVAILABLE?

Kosher meals are available upon request only and must be indicated upon registration.

ARE YOU FOLLOWING COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES?

Yes. All CDC safety guidelines are strictly in place and we have HEPA filters in every room. We are limiting all class sizes and masks are required at all times.
