This is a fun and relaxing class to disconnect from your phone, get your hands muddy and experience clay! Learn hand-building, wheel-throwing, decorating/texturizing, and glazing. Instructor provides individual guidance for all levels of experience and all materials are included.

REGISTER
Drawing & Painting/Ceramics – Ages 7+
DRAWING & PAINTING: A focus on drawing and painting from observation and imagination, using pencil, charcoal, pastels and paint. Form, color, composition, and perspective will be emphasized through stimulating and innovative projects.
CERAMICS: Learn pinch, slab, and coil construction methods as well as the use of molds. Decorative treatments that will be utilized include stamps, stencils and silkscreen. Students will glaze and finish their pieces using multiple glazing techniques. Sculptural, decorative, and functional possibilities in clay will be explored through brief demonstrations, class discussions and individual consultations. All levels welcome. All materials are included.
